Community Service Workday: Habitat for Humanity
May 16, 2009, 10 am, Wayland construction site
Club members and friends volunteered for a day of plastering drywall and hammering nails at a new home under construction in Wayland. No previous skills or experience were required. Everyone wore work clothes and heavy shoes and brought work gloves. It was an interesting, rewarding and fun-filled day. Thanks to Club member Diana Brigham Beaudoin for her leadership in organizing this volunteer opportunity.
