HCC Volunteers at the Acton Food Pantry May 9, 2026
Help stock the Acton Food Pantry
HCC has been invited to help the Acton Food Pantry move donated canned goods from the Acton Post Office to the Food Pantry. Each year on the Saturday before Mother's Day, our postal carriers accept donations of canned goods while they are out on their delivery routes. Acton carriers typically pick up about 6,000 pounds of donated food. The pantry has asked HCC to help transport the donations from the post office, at 7 Post Office Square, Acton, to the pantry at on May 9. We will meet at the Acton Post Office at 6:30 pm on Saturday May 9, 2026, and load our cars. We will then drive about 10 minutes to the Acton Food Pantry at 21 Maple St, where we will unload. If there is interest, HCC will head to dinner together. Please register so we know how many volunteers to expect!
